Have anyone tried Healthy Paws Frozen pet food

Hi, I used to feed my Pomeranian with kibble only and so far so good. He was naturally passed away at 13 yrs old. Now I'm going to adopt a Kuvasz and my breeder advised us to feed her partly kibble and partly raw food. I google on web and there are lots of article regarding kibble and raw food which make me confused. Here are some questions and I hope someboby can help me:
1.when is the best time to begin with raw food, 10 weeks...12 weeks or...
2.mix kibble with raw food or separate to feed, which way is better?
3.have anyone tried frozen pet food, e.g Healthy Paws... any comments?
4.do I need to defrost before feeding? If yes, how? By microwave or.....

Lots of folks feed raw right from the start, but that said, if you've never fed raw before, I would personally be hesitant to start with a puppy as you have less of a margin for error. If you do though, I'd do a ton of research and try to find some mentors of sorts to help you out.

Don't mix kibble and raw!!!!!!
You can feed a combo, but IN DIFFERENT MEALS. Raw and kibble digest at different rates and mixing the two can lead to digestive upset. You could do a raw breakfast, kibble dinner for example.

I've fed a few different pre-made raw foods, but never Healthy Paws as I'm not too impressed with their formula.
I have used Nature's Variety, Urban Carnivore and Arusha, all of which I was happy with, though I never fed any exclusively, only as about 50% of the dog's diets (the rest being straight up DIY raw)
Dog Aware has a good list of pre-made raw foods which can help you find the best food for your dog.

4.Defrosting overnight in the fridge is best really. I wouldn't use the microwave as you do not want to accidentally cook the meat and bones.
Some people feed frozen, but I don't personally like this practice too much as I've found it leads to upset stomachs and in some cases regurgitation of food.

I use Nature's Variety and Pawsitively-raw with my kittens and only thaw in the fridge, never in the microwave. It takes about 24 hours to do so.
