hello!

Wanted to introduce myself. I have been reading the posts for the past few months and decided to join up! I have 3 dogs and 1 cat. They are my buddies Here's a recent pic of them on the sofa. Winston is the wee pup. He's playing with Spencer who is the youngin standing with the rope toy. Topaz cat slumbers alot like his buddy Apache. See the remote? ....that's my spot!

See guys, I'm not the only one who :love:s setters!

Welcome to the fold, dogwalker! Hugs to Winston, Spencer, Apache and Topaz! Lots of kissies from the Hazel Run s, too!

Ha! Looks just like my couch, only with a few less dogs and a few more cats, but...same idea. My crew occasionally grants me the privilege of sitting on a wee corner of it.... Welcome!

Yes it can be a tight fit on the sofa! Before I took that pic Apache's head was on my lap...so wee space indeed...but the arms of this sofa can extend the space out alittle...

sometimes Topaz hangs out:
(sleepy time)

Thanks for the welcome, and I LOVE Jaida's smile!!! What a dog!!! Been lurking there too!!

Definitely more pics, dogwalker! Puppies, adolescents, grand ol' dogs... More pics, please! (Setter puppies are just the cutest things on earth, don't you think? he he And the cuter the puppy, the less likely Frenchy will be comin' here to kidnap the Pack--she'll head over to your place instead She's always threatening to rent a van...and the Pack is always threatening to chap her within an inch of her life by licking her as she comes in through the gate

He's going to be as dark, or maybe even darker than Princess~Queen Cass. She approves!

What is it with Setters? YOU CAN'T HAVE JUST ONE

I'm still snickering over that pic of Topaz That's a prize winner.

Welcome to the unofficial "we all dream of owning Setters" part of the board.... just how many Setters can you fit in a Van?

Dogwalker, do you have locks on your gates? I'll have to send the Sheriff over to train Apache in border security! And Brier can teach Spence to be the Deputy! The Repel Frenchy Task Force!

For me, it's like this. I got my first setter because my boyfriend from long ago had one as a family pet. Molly ended up being more my dog than his, so it was easy when we split. Molly went with me. And I have loved English Setters ever since!! Yes, hard to have just one. Pair is always better, then of course maybe have to balance the age thing a bit, etc.....Living in the city does limit me somewhat though!! I can legally have 4 critters....

Oh no! What would Topaz do without his buddies!! Frenchy please take pity on Topaz. He is just recovering from ear surgery :
(how many cats would get a hematoma so they would look more doggie-like?)

I love Topaz's floppy ear! Frenchy, looks like Monsieur le chat will have to share his space, too--any cat that dedicated to becoming an honorary setter will just have to come along!

Awwww...Spencer is such a cutie, too! he he As I recall, he and Ember sort of hit it off, but I evidently didn't get a picture of it! and believe me, hazel looked! sigh

The Sheriff will round up a few of his roundest Toad Buddies and get started ... as soon as his nap is over ... A fella needs his beauty rest, y'know!

The droopy ear has grown on me too! At first I was a little disappointed cause the surgery to fix the ear wasn't that cheap and I was thinking the ear would look normal afterwards....But, heck, this adds some dog character!
