2 cats and 1 dog in Montreal

Hi, thought I'd post a little intro seeing as I'll have a couple more serious issues to post over the next couple days. I had very few pets when I was a kid and as I get older, I realize more and more how much love and happiness animals bring to my life. I'm hoping that over the next year or so, I'll be able to move to a more animal friendly house and neighbourhood, so I can make life easier for my current 2 cats and 1 dog, and so that I can adopt other pets. I just love them so much. It's really nice to have this animal friendly space to come to whether it's just for a break, or for advise, or to compare experiences. I appreciate it and appreciate the time that people take to share information.

Welcome to the board, althe. We'd love to see some pics of your furbabies if you have some to share

The calico is Pisi and her brother is Mitza. They'll be 10 years old on Sept 21. They immigrated to Montreal from a very small village in Romania around 2006 and I adopted them in January 2008. As you can see, they are co-dependent, and they are insanely affectionate...really, it's ridiculous.
And then there's Belle, my true dog love. This is barely an hour after I adopted her from Berger Blanc on January 3rd, 2011, where she'd been since October 23rd. The group dynamic between these three has been complicated and exhausting and adaptation is ongoing. After this experience, I wouldn't recommend bringing an adult pet into a home where there's already another adult pet.
