ADVICE PLEASE:Being Harassed by petsite owner
I appreciate you looking and hopefully helping me out here
 over 1 month ago I ordered a collar for my puppy from ******... I have yet to receive my order and I have sent 2 emails asking for a tracking number which never came nor did a response... so I emailed again about 2 hrs ago and said I would wait until Wednesday and if I still had no word I was going to report him to his merchant company for fraud, well I guess he took notice of that and he called my 30min ago and started yelling at me on the phone,,, I would admit if I flew off the handle as well but I was really calm and let him know if he continued to speak to me like that I would hang up ... then proceeded to let him know his customer relations needed some serious attention.... what I need help with is he will not stop calling me ,, he has called me 9 times in the last hour,,, he admitted he has had a few drinks and then started to tell me how cute I sounded.,.. stunned and horrified I told him we where not going to come to a solution tonight and to call me tomorrow with a tracking number... he wont stop calling me,,, I am worried because now he is calling me from a private number and he let me know he knows where I live.,.. I live in canada and he lives in the states but I am very creeped out and I don't know how to go about this... what do I do?... ** as I am typing this he has called me 2 more times.... he wont stop.... I am a grown woman ,,, I know I may sound childish in my fears but I cant help feeling a little scared right now.... has this happened to anyone? is there someone I can contact to report this and his mind blowing behavior? if this was not something I should have typed on here I am very sorry ,, like I said I cant help but feel very paranoid right now...  thank you Jett Last edited by Blathach; January 14th, 2008 at 09:47 PM.

You poor girl, being harrased like this should not happen to any one, I am not very knowledgeable about these things but I think that the police or RCMP should be able to help you. I mena they have found and charged porn sites. give them a call don't wait you sure don't need this creep calling you a all hours. Patti keep us posted.

I would call the police report the situtation and have them check the number w/the phone company. You can also get the phone company to block the calls from that number. Next step would be to have your credit card company cancel the transaction & report his business to the Better Business Bureau

I agree with all of the above. Don't hesitate, call now. They will tell you who to contact that has jurisdiction over matters such as this.

phew.... still getting use to this site ,, I lost my thread ...
thank you all for replying ,,, and I hate to say he is calling right now I called and canelled that credit card I used and they are mailing me a new one...can I call the rcmp if he lives in the states? I dont understand what is wrong with people... I cant turn my phone off ... I am expecting a call my boyfriend,,, if he is doing this to me I wouldnt be surprised if he has done this to other woman,,,, I will say dont buy from **** .... the man is nuts...can I say that? all I ordered was a caller not a creep. I am going to call the police! I will let you know how it turns out.. thank you all very much,,, typing this out made me feel much better how do you post pictures of your pet that are saved on your computer? I would love to show you my newest addition to my growing family of furry friends.. we have 5 cats and now this adorable,, and completely energized little bundle of love.. and I am not kidding about his energy my gawd,,, he waers me out just watching him  Trigger = miniature pinscher... born sept 30/07 ... all I can say is he owns my heart... the cats hate him *lol* actually one of my cats is stalking him,, then she corners him and wont let him leave... I hope they start to get along soon,,

We don't order online, because we don't believe in it. You are always better off getting a product right from the store, to avoid such problems. I would change my phone no. to a private one and let the police know about this whole incident, because it seems that he is a con artist. He has probably done this also to other people. We are victims of crimes and we have learned not to trust people (unfortunately). We refuse to be victims again. Good luck and let us know what happened.

You can go back to your posts, click on the EDIT button and replace the name with stars or something. Then click the SAVE button.

Definitely call the phone department, they can trace the calls. The police will probably advise you to do this anyway. Then depending on where he is, the police can deal with the yanks, if necessary.
I'd be freaked out too.

where to begin... I phoned the police station and told them exactly what happened,, after I finished the officer then asked me if my concern was that the man was going to jump on a plane to canada and show up on my door step
 basically he was making fun of me! he then explained that though what the man did was not right it was not illegal... if he keeps it up then I have a harassment charge... he took the guys number and said he would call the guy tomorrow and get my tracking number for me (if there is one) as well as set the man straight....and that I should never order from him again *duh* and if the phone calls or emails persist (which he hasn't called me in over 30min) then I should call this Sargent back and I would press harassment charges.,he said he would make a file on this but basically thats the end of it....at the end of the conversation with his promise to get back to me in the morning,,, his parting words to me where I should be more careful which sites I order from.. I thanked him for his time and agreed 'yes from now on I will look through the site more carefully and try to find that warning page that states the owner of the site is crazy and will relentlessly call and say inappropriate things' I would like to sincerely thank all of you for your advice and for caring about the situation more then the people who are suppose to protect you.... The End Of That!! thanks for posting the link to help me post some pictures of trigger...  ... I am excited to share my new puppy with such sweet people

At least now the police dept has a record of your complaint & you can proceed w/ harrasment charges if necessary (hopefully the guy has stopped for good) & they will track the collar for you - this will show if the guy is legit as well. Unfortunately this is the best the law will allow but there is a record of this incident with this particular person & should he try this with someone else, hopefully something more can be done about it.
For uploading pics they need to be 100kb or less, when you scroll down the page past the reply box there is a "Manage attachments" button, click on that & browse for pics from your computer, click upload & sumbit your reply

thank you growler... and yes it makes me feel better that there is a file on the incident .. for the sake of others I am sure this will happen to in time :sad:
now for some baby pictures..  has anyone ever owned a miniature pinshcer? this is my first dog ever,, I keep hearing that after mastering this breed I will pretty much be ready for any other breed if I choose to get another dog,,, dont really know what to make of that statement *lol* but I have been buying books on triggers breed (boyfriend named him *groan*) and I am in for a wild ride with this little guy  luckypenny you may regret posting that .... *lol*

I love his belly... I cant stop kissing the soft spot between his groin and leg on the inside.... he loves it as well.. he is such a lover...
we went on our second walk today, where I live is a snow belt so its been to cold and way to much snow to walk him,,, he doesnt like to dog boots.. I am more excited then he is am sure to take him to the park for the first time and let him have a good run!
