Dog Throws Her Own Ball

My sister-in-law has a one year old Mini Schnauzer girl that throws the ball for herself. She tosses it with her mouth and then chases it. It's so cute. She also can open zippers and steal things from purses, knapsacks, etc. I've never seen this before. Does anyone else have a dog who does these things? Too funny!

I know a cockapoo that threw her own ball in a pool and then dive in to get it. I know a min pin that will get in your purse and steal stuff. It's pretty funny.

My Cocker Spaniel will drop her ball from the top of the stairs or let it roll off the porch and then chase it all the way down.

My step-son's Mt. Currie special (semi-ferrel dog) will open doors that have lever type handles.

My friend's Golden Retriever escapes all the time by opening the door. They have to use the deadbolt to stop her! Each dog sure does have it's own personality!

Brina takes her tennis ball to the top of the stairs and drops it down then chases it, she tosses it around the house bouncing it off the walls. She opens the cupboard where her treats are and paws at the dish till I go get her one, she won't take if I'm not there and its an open dish. when she is outside and wants it she slides open the patio screen door and walks through to the kitchen for me to undo her rope (she has a 70 foot rope for outside)

Mollie plays catch with herself too! Tosses the ball in the air with her mouth then catches it. She also drops the ball down the stairs, chases after it but brings it right back up the stairs and drops it down again. She'll do this up and down thing for a good hour. Silly how they can amuse themselves.

Don't know if this qualifies, but when Lady hears my voice on the speakerphone, according to Beena she goes bananas. She will wag her tail, get a silly Cocker Spaniel grin and "nose" the phone as if she were trying to get me to pet her.

Darby, the Mini Schnauzer, also watches the tv when America's Funniest Videos comes on and barks when a dog, cat or baby comes on. It's her favourite show!

Darby's sister used to steal socks right off her master's foot! She'd also steal any socks laying around (any colour) and put them in her bed. If you couldn't find your sock you knew where to check

bayley does that with balls. If we're outside and there's a hill, she'll take it to the top and let it roll down then chase it. It's even better if there's snow. She'll toss her stuffies in the air and then catch them and shake them.

She'll steal socks too doesn't do much with them just likes to carry them around.

Casey loves throwing her ball for herself, it often rolls under something so she cant get it though and then she comes and starts sucking up to me to go get it for her.

They are very clever these pets. Tucker throws his ball down the stairs for you to throw back up to him and sometimes he nips the ball so it just bounces back down to you, when this happens you better duck as it comes with some force
