My kitty isn't feeling well
My 6 year old Kitty, Noelle, has a little problem for the past week or so. Her stool is very soft and has a little bit of blood and mucus in it. She is still as active and affectionate. She is also a long hair cat and I've been giving her some medication for her hairballs. She eats dry food and every other day some wet. Her appetite is still the same. She has a sister who shows no symptoms. They are both indoor cats. She is my little snuggler!

Have you had your kitty checked for worms or other parasites and bacteria?. I suggest a minor exam from your vet along with a sample of your kitties stool, as fresh as possible. To have it checked under a microscope for these things. For worms it would be a simple de-wormer and for a bacteria infection, some antibiotics. When you see blood I'd say that is a sign to have your pet looked at by a professional. There are a variety of causes when you see blood or mucus in a stool or urine.
