Oh, yes! I see the resemblance! You have the same smile!

Gianna is gorgeous, Alea! That puppy pic is just adorable! She looks so happy in all her pics.

And if hazel breaks down and calls you by your logon name in future...or abbreviates it to OIM25 () it's cuz she's not 25 anymore and has no memory left! Well, also cuz I'm .

Sorry I abandoned you in the midst of giving pic-posting directions......glad you figured it out so we could see your beautiful girl!

Just a little update....
Last couple of days her skin seems to be getting better. Still some welts here and there. But she's much less itchy and less to no dry skin when i scratch her.
I'm praying that when all these meds are done with, this stuff doesn't come back. Well 1st i pray that it goes away completley. I would hate to have to keep her on another med everyday of her life.

Just a little update on Gianna skin problem..... There are no more "welts" and her skin is not so dry, the occasional flake here and there, not like it was before. But now my dog looks like a Leopard. It's hard to explain what they look like, so I will try, but I will also post some pics. They are roundish dark spots all over her. the almost look oilily, but are not. I'm telling you she really looks like a Leopard. She doesn't seem to be bothered by them either. They're not itchy either. She finished all her pills, and I guess they helped a little since most of her other symptoms are gone. I just don't know what else it could be. I just want my babies shinny coat back. Here are the pics, it's hard to see them in these pics, but anything that looks darker on here is one of these spots. There's hundreds!!

looks very much like hives present in a horse. I'd be asking what the allergy index was at when it first started... for example, Sam I Am reacted to Poplar as the index was way high at that point of the year. What's budding and growing in your area right now... what's blowing in the wind so to speak. Allergy tests don't always test for everything and are not as conclusive when the snow is melting. They are best conducted in the dead of winter for some reason, probably related to growing seasons etc.. Just a thought

Just to clarify major allergy test, she spent 72 hours at a specialists being tested?

No, her blood was sent to a dermatologist who tested for for everything. Took a week for the result to come back. If she had been allergic to anything, they would have made a serum for her which I would have injected into her once a week. But those test came back all negative.

When I had Sam I Am, we were told that he would have to go to the big Veterinary Hospital here to have a 72 hour testing and that bloodwork was not conclusive. That he would go through quite an ordeal, would cost around $3000 but we would have about 95% of his allergies diagnosed. We did not do it simply because he was going in to organ failure and was too weak to be put through more painful test. I'm not saying what you had is incorrect but perhaps not as conclusive as you believe it to be? Just some thoughts. Those that know me and what I went through with Sam I Am will tell you that I moved mountains to try and help him for a year.

If Gianna was in any pain or these Leopard spots were bothering her at all, I would also move mountians to get to the bottom of them. But she's not, i think now it's just a cosmetic thing. But thank you for the info.
