Cat peeing outside of the litterbox?

Hi. So my cat is 12 and for the past 2 months she has been constantly been peeing outside of her litter box.

She seems to pee in her litterbox once after it has been changed. After that she goes for pillows, laundry baskets, clothes, etc.

What can I do to fix this?

We have switched through different litter brands, I have washed her litterbox.

Often times she will pee on in my room with me in here, without me noticing and I will find it after. So I know she is not crying out or anything.

It is not bloody either.

Please help, this is getting so tiring.

Also, I clean her litterbox once a week. As I have done her entire life.

Some things in this thread might help you. I will add, I'd Vet her to see if there is a urinary tract infection. You would not necessarily see blood, or not yet. Good idea to rule this out early. And, we change litter boxes daily. Once a week might have been ok till now, simple, simple thing to try, clean it daily. Good luck, something's up if she's been good till now.

Cats do get dementia like people when they get older , this could be happening with your cat.
