Have you had your old dog to the vet recently? When my old dog lost control of her bowels it was because arthritis had attacked her spine and she could no longer feel the sensation that she had to go and would go without notice. She hated it! It was ultimately a sign to us that her body was no longer working for her. Please have this checked, it is not normal for him to lose control of his bowels just because he's hot. Good luck.
