August a month I will never forget!!!

From Bailey....to my poor little Nickie who is going down hill too quickly. She is followed by Crunchie.Their health seems to have declined so quickly.

I was at the vets yesterday. Nickie seemed to be having problems using her back legs...so as usual..off we went to see our favorite vet. Unfortunately Nickies blood results are not good and a little surprising. Her Creatinine levels are at 23, severely anemic, her heart murmur is more prominent and so here we are knowing full well what's in store.
The vet will put her on heart medication which I need to go and pick up, but that is all we can do.
Nickie, my little Nickie Nickie Timbo...so tiny (three weeks old, if that)when she stumbled into my life. Barely holding on to life but so determined to live. She's only 15...
My little Crunchie...the kitty every other kitty loved to hate...she sure showed them...outliving them all. She will be 19 in October...she is dehydrated and barely eating now.

Oh cpietra, my heart goes out to you

Why does it seem when it rains, it pours ?

Hopefully they will still have some years left, cats are just such fighters when they get sick .

Oh Cpietra16 I am so sorry that your having to go through this again... I am saying many prayers for Nickie and Crunchy! they will be in my thoughts!

Did the vet prescribe Fortekor for Nickie? I just wondered because it is pretty costly and I have a full prescription worth that I had got for Bomber. Your certainly welcome to it.!

cpietra, I'm so sorry for you. It's so hard to deal with one pet in declining health let alone multiples at once. Perhaps the kitties will rally again. You never know.

Hi Winston, yes..the prescription is 194.00...and I have not picked it up yet because its so costly. 194.00 for me right now is very steep...if you haven;t used it and it will go to waste...I can arrange something if you are ok with it.
please pm me....thank you

I'm so sorry, cpietra! We never have long enough with any of them.

I hope Nickie and Crunchie rally and give you all more time together!

I'm so sorry to hear about crunchie and Nickie. Could they just be sad because of missing your other cat? I hope they pick up in a couple of days...poor babies.

No Tundra Queen, Crunchie will probably pass over in the next day or two.I wish they were going thru a depression due to the loss of their friend but crunchie is 19 and she has stopped drinking and eating..although she tries. She can barely hold herself up. She is not in pain according to the vet, but if I do see her in discomfort I will take he rin and help her cross over.
