Dogs walking through condo lobby

Hi all,

Recently I was told by a security guard in my condo that I have to pickup my dog while walking through the lobby. By law do I have to obey this rule? Has anyone encountered the same problem?

Where do you live and what do your condo rules say? Almost sounds like the security guard is being petty? What if your dog was to big to pick up? or you had a bad back?

If you live in a condo, it all depends on the condo rules which are dictated by the condo board. He could very well be right if that's what you'r condo's rules are. The only way to know for sure is for you to read the condo rules.
