My wild pets

Well this small group of turkeys seem to have taken up residence in my back yard:

This young buck must have been one of the babies from last year, he knows where the feeders are kept under the tree. Right now they are covered in snow from storm #2

we also have those wild turkeys here about 4 kms from my house , don't know why they always hang out in the same field ... I would like for them to come here too , would be entertaining for the dogs

Oh, my...the poor dears (turkeys and deer) look pretty miserable in the snow, don't they? The turkeys in particular...all hunkered down. I just wanna wade out there and give them all warm s. (And I'm sure it would go over well, too... )

You've got some great habitat there, though, L4H! I can see why they all want to be at your place.

Cool pics and I love your backyard.

How far away from the deer were you? They always run whenever I open the door.

I took this pic through my kitchen window. Most of the deer run when I open the door too. This guy is very timid.

Last year there was a group of three that lived on the wooded lot across the street from me. They came twice a day to feed and they wouldn't really run too far when I went outside. Hunters were there this fall and I heard at least one get shot
