Lash out !

Just thought I would share a recent happening with you all The evening before last Gypsey my GSD was lying by the door from our dining room out into the kitchen she was happily chewing on a hide bone shaped dog chew and Sparky the older of our two cats went to rush past,Why he chose to run I dont know as he has done this a 1,000 times and she just ignores him however this time rush he did and the result was he spooked Gyp's who went to bark at him to which he thought NO WAY ! He then lashed out with with one paw and caught her eye  She stayed put as I said STAY ! having whitnessed the happening I loked at her eye and saw a scratch on the cornea So good job it was 6pm and our vets had just opend for evening surgery . Packed waiting room, long wait, But no real damage done the vet said Eye cream to be applied twice a day Luckily she's very good and sits and allows me to apply this quite easily
