Harley may have issues but......

If it were not for him, I would have stayed on the floor passed out for a lot longer time. I had a bad seizure yesterday morning, all I remember is waking up with Harley licking my face over and over again. I did not even know I had one until I realized I was on the floor with him face first and was bleeding.
He stayed by my side the whole ordeal until Someone picked me up to take me to the hospital.
I am fine now, face looks like I lost in a boxing match, but had a CT scan and nothing serious.
I love my dog, and can not thank him enough for staying by me when I was alone.

Aren't dogs just the cat's meow.
Something similiar happened with my uncle a few years back. My mom gave him this GSD that was slated for euthanasia. My uncle agreed to take her until a home was found...well surfice to say that he kept the dog afterall.
She was never very social with anyone but him. She had TONS of issues. But he loved her and she him.
My mom keeps in contact with her brother almost everyday. 3 days went by and she did not hear from him. Worried she went to his home in Montreal. She found him...on the floor, unconscious. She called 911. His girl was by his side. She even pee'd there as she would not leave him. My mom had a heck of a time getting the dog away from him. Finally she did before the ambulance came.
Turned out he was dying for kidney failure (no one including himself knew). The doctors told my mom that night to get the family together to say goodbye. She brought in the dog so that she would remain with him until the end.
He never died. He made it through the night and soon thereafter received a new kidney. He says that he recalls those 3 days. He wanted to die but the dog would lick his face, howl and pull at him. He knows she saved his life.
With all those narly issues, this dog that was suppose to die, and in the end, saved a man's life. Goes to show you.
She has passed away since then. There is not a day that goes by that he speaks of his special 'Lady'.
RIP Lady.
So glad you are ok. Harley is a wonderful companion.
