I think you need to call your vet! No matter what day it is.

I don't have any ideas about what's going on...but I'm sure everyone will have a more relaxed Thanksgiving if you're not worrying about something seriously wrong with Spot...

Have a good T-day and hope Spot's OK.

Well I've been reprimanded here by admin in the past for not being real polite...trust me I grit my teeth sometimes in an effort to be gentle.

Pezers, how is your Dal?

ROTFLMFAO@Luba.Sorry but that was funny.
Cursing and swearing here. Some people just don't have any brains.Who cares if it's Thanksgiving.Call a vet.Gees that ticks me off.I can't unserstand why people find it hard to call or see a vet when there is something wrong with an animal.Unles we have DVM after our names, how do we know.

Me too Carina....And I agree...some people just have NO brains!! If you truly love your pet, CALL!!! My God, if it was your kid would you leave him bleeding while you ate turkey and pumpkin pie?? Sheesh!!!!!! And sometimes, a simple phone call and a couple questions can help the situation without a visit to the vet - you never know until you CALL!!! Lights are on but no one's home in some posts!! Hope your Spot is ok regardless!!

I only share what I believe to be correct

If you are young perhaps you still have much to learn (as do we all)

BUT you should understand that animals feel pain as do humans and neglecting to give them care when they are having troubles is not something that I will cowar to.

I am glad your dog is doing better

Perhaps if you shared what happened and what the diagnosis was and treatment others would learn from your experience.

Maybe your mom should join as well

Thumbs up

I'm glad Spot is better too!

I'm curious though, what was causing that? Was there something in his eye?

I'm glad to see that you got permission to stay here. This really is a wonderful place. Everyone is very helpful.

I too have 3 dogs along w/ 3 small children.

What kind of dogs do you have?

you need to understand, that everyone on here loves animals. And when you said you didn't want to call the vet b/c it was thanksgiving, you could understand why everyone got upset. having a dog or any pet is just like having a child. you need to take responsability and cautions for them. they rely on you to keep them well.

as someone said previously if that was your child you would have taken him/her to the doctor/er to get checked. I know it can get expensive w/3 dogs but if you love them then money is no object. You will find a way to get them to the vet.

you asked a question, although I agree you should have called the vet right away to make sure that everything is alright. you can't get offended. If your offended by anything I said I'm sorry but it's the truth. You can get alot of great info from here. I'm young and I learned alot from here.

Do you have any pictures of your dogs???

I'm sorry pezers, but like daisy said,we were all upset when you said you couldn't take spot cause it was thanksgiving. And it hurts when I read how some peoples dogs/cats are sick and they can't take them to a vets. Our pets are part of our family. When they are sick we can't just push them aside.I have 2 dogs. And one of them has had some health problems. But was always taken taken to the vets.So try and understand why we were upset. We are here to help. And you are not the only one we have been upset with. There have been others. And I'm so glad to hear Spot is better. And I am glad you came back here. And you do sound young. Please don't get offended for what we said.We are here to help.

Don't be too hard on pezers - s/he does sound young & we all started somewhere.

Pezers, welcome. And I'm glad it wasn't anything real serious...I couldn't imagine what could cause blood to actually come out of a dog's eye but that sounded awfully serious.
