Weird acting young cat!

Hello! I have a small persian cat. While I was away at truck driving school, she had taken to passing urine and defecating on my dining room carpet while I was away. Steam cleaned carpet twice, treated with 50/50 white vinegar & water, also pet odor eliminator, and baking soda to neutralize odors. Steam cleaned again and urination has stopped on carpet, but defecation still happens periodiacally. Now last week, I caught her rubbing on some coral pieces I had in another windowsill. I have since removed the coral and now she is lethargic, sleeping in cat box, not grooming, but not vomiting, eats normally, and don't play with her favorite toys. She has swelling under jawline which goes down and comes back, then goes down. Have been cleaning affected area with hydrogen peroxide 2X daily and applying triple antibiotic ointment once daily, also been giving amoxicillin drops orally as
prescribed. Have been trying to treat @ home, cannot afford vet bills @ present due to unemployment. Anyone got any natural cures? I am beside myself worrying about my feline friend. Please help if you can.

I don't see any other solution other than taking your cat to the vet. The swelling in her jaw is probably causing her pain (hence the lethargy, always a bad sign in cats) and the amoxicillin is not helping. Could be an infection, or even a tumour. I would stop all the home treatments until you get a diagnosis. Please find a way.
