My dog won't dtop licking his butt!

Hi There!

My mini schnauzer won't stop licking his butt! It isn't red and there is no bump, the smell is not overwhelming like when is anal sacs need emptying. could this be a sign of worms, would i see them in his stool? Thanks for any help!
