Senior dog food

Does anyone know if PureBalance canned dog food is a good choice for a senior dog. I'm switching our dog to canned from dry because of teeth issues, and the one website I read said this is pretty good food. Another one said because Old Roy makes it, its junk. Our vet said she thinks she should be on a senior food, that grain free might be too rich in protein for our dog, but I couldn't find any local that sounded too good, other than Pedigree weight management.
