Question puppy won't eat

I have a 6 month old toy poodle puppy who won't eat. For the past 2 days it's been really bad, he's eaten absolutely nothing! We've tried people food, heating puppy food, wet food and dry food. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Have you taken him to the vet to rule out medical issues?

This is not uncommon at this age. 6 month puppies have just gone through a growth spurt and they slow down on their food. Feed him his regular food twice a day. Give him fifteen minutes to eat and then pick it up. Don't feed any treats until he learns he needs to eat his food. If you want to be really nice to him, put a Tbsp or so of water on his food and microwave it. It will smell more appetizing to him. He'll come around. If he's not eating by Monday, check with your vet.

plus, Alot of the cheaper, low quality foods are sprayed with fat and thus seem more appetizing. He won't let himself go hungry. If you keep putting it down, he will eat.. im not saying to keep him on low quality food, but try untill he gets his regular apetite back.

How is he otherwise, Ingie? Is he still drinking? Peeing and pooping on schedule? As active as usual or a bit lethargic?

This suggestion won't work as he is not eating anything.

I second what hazelrunpack asked.

I would be pretty worried that a pup even at this age(and especially this size) was not eating.Pups usually don't stop eating unless something is wrong.

My suggestion would be to have him checked by a vet.

Hi Ingie . How is your dog? I also have a toy poodle, I have the same problem, vet advise me this receipt:
to boil the chicken, then take it's meat only, cut it. take a rice (I think 20grams is OK) and boil it with the chicken meat.
my dog ate it with pleasure!
