Need a Dog Name

Today, we rescued to beautiful little pups. As it is easter sunday I would like to give them easter names. We have one boy and one girl. They are approx 8 - 12 weeks of age. Dark brown bodies with brindle legs and some white on chest and paws.

I have been able to come up with many names for the little girl, however I am not able to find a name for the boy.

Please help me name our little easter ones.

thanks for the quick response, I don't know the breed. it looks like they may have some boxer in them, but really I don't know. They are little mixes and came to me today terribly frightened. they are now happy little ones.

I am just looking for some name that is easter realated. Lilly, bunny, etc. the boy is the hardest one

anymore names would be greatly appreciated. I am just putting there photos on my computer now so i will post one in just a few minutes.

Here they are!!! hard to get them to settle down for a photo.

They are so happy. When they arrived today all their bones where showing. They were so hungry that they ate and ate and ate. I eventually had to remove the food so the poor little things didn't over eat. Their fur was in such poor condition. They were covered in their own wastes. I gave them their first bath and oh boy, just running water over them had black water pouring from them. Now they look and smell so pretty.

Of course a little ARF MANNIE helped. They now have full little bellies, smell great. Have their first piece of Jewellry (Collars) and two boys who can't stop kissing and hugging them.

There is really no common easter words that come to mind. everything is more girl friendly.
reasing a BIT, as I am not christian so I don't evne know what Easter is all about, I have fund TWO suggestions.

I liked the name that Safyre suggested for a boy Matro , (he is a gift, right?)

I also found "It is possible that the name "Easter" stemmed from that of Eostre, an Anglo-Saxon goddess of springtime." I liked that name Eostre.

there is a polish name JARO, which means spring

Kristina, thank you for the words. I decided to call these little ones Lilly in honor of the Easter Lilly and Choco, in honor of the most delicious Easter Treat.

They went to the vet today and they are doing fine. They have received their first vaccinations, and now all they need is to find their new forever homes.

I will keep you posted on their progress.
