got a little probelm

our 1 eye nick !! today is her gotcha day of 11 yrs, she has big time swollen paw, yes i checked the nail and felt the pads, oh i hope i did not jink anything, i fed her supper awhile ago and gave her a shot of metcalm fingers crossed, could it be a bite???, well you can be sure ill keep a close eye on it, should i put ice on it or heat??, just a thought brenda and the pins

brenda what about a bee sting? Winston had this happen and his face swelled really bad?? do you have any benedryl in case Nick has a reaction?

First of all Happy Gotcha Day to Nicky ......11 years of pampered living at your house.

Any bug bite can cause an allergic reaction so I would go ahead and give her some Benadryl. If it's a bite it will work fairly quick to being the swelling down so if it doesn't help then it's vet time.

Hope it's nothing serious.

It could be a sprain, too. Our guys are all getting frisky because the weather is so nice and spraining their paws leaping up on the deck

If you think it's a sprain, you can put some ice on it. Keeping her quiet will help a lot, too. I hope she's better soon
