Anyone know of Great Pyr for adoption?

There is an approved and loving home waiting for a young Great Pyrenees!

These people have sheep and want a working dog. I doubt very much there are any puppies in rescue, and anyone who has a good working dog is not likely to give it up. They may need to go to a breeder - NOT Paws r Us. Is there any breed those cretins don't have??

Hello there is a 2 year old great pyrenese name Pierre, available at www.uppercredit.com The website says he is not at the shelter, but is available. He is adorable. Good luck.

Great Pyr

LR - Contact Debbie from Watchdog, I think she pulled one from the AMR before euthanising on or around March 21st. If she didn't pull it another rescue did I think. I believe he was 2 years old. I was away at the time so couldn't head out to get him. Check with her, she'll know where he's at.

Thanks everyone! I'll contact Watchdog and pass on Pierre! They can ask about his background. The needs are very specific since this dog must either be a puppy to be raised with the sheep or to have worked and be safe around little lambs!

What is that Chienchien? They have dogs on there "adoptable for breeding"? What is that about? And they charge different fees for different colors and different breeds? Sounds fishy.

I noticed that to Prin, and thought it strange ! .
All the dogs have a different price, I thought maybe it was based on how much money they have put into each dog (vet bills etc) ??

Upper Credit HS is a really good Humane Society (very close to where we live), they use a lot of foster homes. Pierre certainly is a beaut, isn't he.

If it was that, then the unborn puppies of the poodle wouldn't be different prices based on color...

Maybe BMD decided it was fishy too. If shelters screen like mad, who would they place an intact dog with? Or for that matter why offer a great dane to the highest bidder?

In the archives I found a link that had all the legit animal rescues in Ontario. Does anyone know if there is one for Quebec?

I went to the web site www.chienchien.com It is very suspicious looking to me and sets off warning bells.
