My opinon is that I"m amazed this didnt' happen years ago! Tigers are wild animals and do not belong on a stage in Vegas. And yes, if the tiger wanted him dead, it could have killed him with one bite.

I agree with Lucky wild animals belong in the wild not in Vegas not in a circus not in marineland or wherever. If the tiger wanted to kill him he would be dead. Simple

What about the tiger that escaped from the circus in Manhattan? Sounds like a scene from a movie!! That's a HUGE potential for a VERY large lawsuit, should they not have a restriction on such huge and dangerous animals in such densly populated areas?

I agree fully, tigers, lions, elephants etc... do not belong anywhere but their native habitat.
The magnificent white Tiger who attacked Roy and all the other big cats they own ,have been brought up since cubs with this kind of life,it does not make it right, but I know Roy loves his animals and was doing his best to give them good lives.
Unlike the horrors that goes on in the many game-parks where big, tough idiots, shoot trapped and terrified Big Cats, hunted down by dogs :mad
In a perfect world no animal should be kept captive,if there is a creator of all these beautiful animals,he/she must be crying over how we humans treat these wonderful wild creatures.

While I agree that wild animals belong in the wild, at the rate man is going, the wild is disappearing rapidly. For some species to survive, man is going to have to be involved. S & R had wonderful facilities and were more about showing these magnificent animals to people and making them aware of the beauty and magnificence out there.

I do believe that had the tiger wanted to kill him, he would be dead with much less drama then there was.

I have to say that S & R's tigers seem to be very well taken care of and loved a great deal. I don't see that pained look in their eye like you see at the zoo. I don't like that these beautiful wild animals are living in captivity, but it sure does beat watching them gunned down on the discovery channel by ******* poachers! And if S & R are able to spread knowledge and love and respect for these animals well then...good job!

The idiot who used to play Tarzan had a tiger that got out a short while ago too. The cops killed it because it was roaming in an urban area near population. Now the guy is going to sue the police because he says it didn't need to die. My opinion: He didn't need to have it as a pet, he should have kept it more secure, and failing these basic items it didn't need to die. Since he didn't secure the cat, it did die.

Bill&Bob,I read about that too,a loong story in the Enquirer
A beautiful cat,I do however think they should have sedated her rather than kill her,but then again I've never been face to face with a tiger.
He also truly loved and took good care of her, since she was a baby,,not that I think tigers should be kept as pets....but this man lived in his own fantasy-jungle world, wearing loin-cloths and did the best he could for his tigers. If taken away from him, they will more than likely live the rest of their lives in a cage
I consider the big cats among the most beautiful animals in the world, especially tigers, next to wolves and horses.
