That is a beautiful shot! We're going to a block party at a friends house on the 4th. Will be about 80 people with potluck, music with DJ and dancing. We're taking Den-Den and Corky with us. They don't seem to mind the fireworks (small stuff for the kids in the group) as long as they're sitting on our laps and feel safe. Not an evening to leave the dogs home alone. Puss-Puss will be home, but she's never been bothered by the fireworks noise. She sits in the window and watches with great interest!

Thank you, and I hope your day was wonderful Luba!

This town apparently used to have a parade, a pancake breakfast, the whole shibang. But it has dwindled down to a small gathering at the incredibly small Art Gallery with face painting and a small celebration. I'm new here in town so I don't know if there is a "commitee" for Canada Day celebrations, but I'm going to find out. Geeeez, it used to be such a big deal! I wonder why the enthusiasm has waned.......

NO Canada day parade ahh that sucks

Sadie did not do very well emotionally with the fireworks! Most doggies don't (you're lucky 'lass!)

Behind the toilet, in the bathtub, under the cushions of the sofa, under my desk you name it!

Expected!

(but I love fireworks I just haven't told her that yet )

Bentley doesn't mind thunder, but I'm not sure about fireworks...
