Maggies Morning Adventure

i took the kids to the bus stop with me.. Maggie normally goes with us.. i was running very late so i left her in the yard with the piece of ice she was playing with.. well she saw us leave.. (learned we have separation issues to work on)
*i had to carry my almost 2 year old to make it on time*

well less then a min before the bus arrived.. here is Maggie sitting beside me... well i was able to walk with her holding her collar most of the way back home.. but i had to help the youngest down the curb.. i let go of the collar and she bolted across the street to the house.. then around the side of the house and out back running across the field... then i went in side to go get her leash came back out and she bolted in threw the gate when i opened it..

She loves us she came home.. and we have only had her just over 2 weeks..
she went under the fence to get out at the back..of the house.. got it temp fixed now.. but this is her all tired out from her run...

OMG White Rabbit, what a funny picture...I have never seen any dog lie like that.

So glad she found her way home, seeing as she is a new rescue and all. Hope the fence gets a permanent patch up soon so she doesn't begin thinking this is the new morning "ritual" lol

Very sweet pooch...no doubt you love her a lot already...have fun

well she normally comes with us to the bus stop.. as for the fence she would not of been able to get out under it is she was a proper weight.. i got a board across it for now till i can get hubby to fix it.. but i am not sure if he can it is a gate we use to get the suv out of the back part of the yard.. when we use it.. but at the same time i got the gate closed to cut her off from the back part of the yard.. she is not outside much by herself any way. but that is her bathroom area back there..

i was just happy she stayed long enough for me to get the pic... normally she is in a ball sleeping on the couch.... i'm just waiting for the day when she stays close.. then we can take her out for quad rides.. well a good run any way at her speed.. she is quick...

at least she got some good exercise this morning..

What a pose! Guess she is all tuckered out from her adventure! I'm glad all turned out well in the end though - that can be a very scary thing..

Beautiful dog and great picture! I love how Maggie's face and feet/legs have the brown but her body doesn't appear to. Can we see more pictures of her?

She looks really loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong.

Great pic

Yup def have to be careful esp with the hound mix in her - they love to take themselves for walks - with supervision & occasionally will take their own sweet time coming back - off following their noses

on Maggie coming back in good time

That's a super cute pic of Maggie. I know how you must have felt though as I've been in the same situation with my husky. And, I second the request for more pics of your beautiful girl.
