How is Vinnie's wound looking today?

And, how come we didn't get a pic of Rocky grooming Vinnie's face?

Eats well, since we cut the collar all around about an inch, while he was wearing it.
He might just be reacting to the collar. Ours tend to be less active the first few days they're wearing it, too, chico. So Vinnie may just be adjusting

Mine don't need the cone to wake me up early in the morning. I have them racing up and down the steps and coming into the room and meowing...... loudly. Doesn't matter Daddy is downstairs and they could keep him company....... Nooooo, they have to wake up Mom!
I'm glad Vinnie is getting around better now that the cone has been adjusted.

I had to check in on Vinnie's thread. He looks so cute in his cone. I'm glad to hear he's doing so well. Maybe not the happiest, but adjusting. Love the photo of his boo-boo. Those little stitches look like a march of ants!

Likely just a reaction to the cone, he's got limited ability to do his normal thing, so it's easier to snooze more. Cally () would also lay down in a corner somewhere & just sleep when he had the cone on but when it came off he was back to his normal self, put the cone back on & he'd give you the depressed doggie face

Snowball hated his cone too and was not as active either. I think he just got frustrated so it was easier to sleep, than to move.

Rainbow, when do I ever have a camera ready when something cute is happening??
I'll get a pic, cause Rocky is doing it quiet often, maybe he knows Vinnie cannot do it himself, are they that smart
I put the litter-box back downstairs, since the only one going in it is Rocky,Vinnie went downstairs
Vinnie is being clingy, affectionate, pityful and as sweet as ever, eats as usual,so no problems.
I had to put the Derma-Gel on his stitches,he's trying to get at them,I wish I could tell him,if he does he goes back to the vet
I think you are right, better sleep than doing anything else with the thingy on,today he'll be coming outside to lay in the sun.

Vinnie will have a perfect day for laying out in the sun, and maybe that will do his stitches some good as well.
Does Vinnie have to have them removed or will they come out on their own chico?

aw Vinnie looks so cute in his collar!!! I used those pet wipes on Fagan when he had his collar on, especially after he figured out how to scoop up food with it!
