AAGGHHHH!! I have to drive 50 minutes home in this!! Snow can be so peaceful to look at but can be stressful too!

Does your dog like the snow?? Mine does! Sometimes I have to make him come in so he doesn't freeze to death!! I think I should make him a snowsuite!!!

I am sorry you have to drive in this. I take the subway. Duke seems to like the snow, he's a real "smeller". I think we could have a good game of finding cookies in the snow. This is his first winter so we will see how he likes "LOTS" of snow soon. He isn't fond of the cold (hardly any fur) but he is so high energy that it takes a bit for him to feel it.

Dukie. Last I heard that after the snow we get freezing rain so the city will be a popsicle!!

You're in scarborough right? What part? I grew up in the north east (Near Woburn CI). Promise me that you hit either Adams Park or the hydro field at Scarborough Golf CLub Road/Ellesmere for some toboagganing!

A popsicle?? Yippee, maybe the third rail will fail and the subway will be closed tommorow and I can stay home...ya, I know, probably not but a girl can dream.

I live downtown and will probably go to Riverdale and I will have to figure out "off" hours so we can bring the dog. Once Duke actually pulled me down the hill at riverdale park, ya, get that imagery going, I laughed hysterically all the way down. Now maybe he can pull me up the hill.lol

Oh. I'm getting confused with someone else who lives in Scarborough.

If anyone is reading this from Scarborough, take a trip down the kill for me!! (scarborough has the best sledding hills ever! I have yet found one I like in Brampton)

Here's hoping we get enough snow I don't have to drive downtown from Keswick for the 11 hour shift they just made mandatory! (But I'm not bitter...)

Lucky you. We HAD snow, but it only lasted 24 hours. and now it is warm enough where a light sweater will do for going outside in

I let Phoebe out this morning at around 7:30 and there was a foot of snow drifted up against the patio door (LOTS more snow than that in the yard, this was just what blew against the house). So I shovelled that out of the way and let her out. She asked to be let out again around 9:00, and there was another foot-high drift against the door! There is no longer a distinction in height between the deck and lawn in the back yard. It's all just one massive layer of snow. The drifts at the front of the house are covering up the wrought-iron bench we have on the front deck. That's a whole lotta snow out there, folks! The only vehicles I've seen out so far today are the snowmobiles (these fellas must be in their glory today!). Good luck and safe driving to the folks who have to commute home at the end of the day. Hmmm... I wonder if they'd be suspicious if hubby called in sick this afternoon.

Wonder if Santa Paws will let me hitchike with him tomorrow eve.

I am doing the Montreal Toronto drive, with my two guys. We may be looking for a stable somewhere along the way if the roads get too bad.

Montreal was freezing rain yesterday, it has warmed up for the day, so everything can melt, in time for the deep freeze again tonight.

Everyone keep repeating I love Canada, I love Canada, I love Canada
