Cool How ya gettin' on?

Hello everyone!

Just joined, and figured the first thing to do was introduce myself.

I'm a vet tech for a humane society. I am the cook, driver, personal shopper and oh so much more to 2 dogs, a cat, and a rabbit + the various fosters that come through my life.

Hopeful this will turn out to be a bit of a better forum then the last few I've been on where things turned nasty due to my own personal views on some things.

Hi LooneyBoone, welcome.

I guess as long as you don't believe in allowing your pet to breed, left outside by itself, or not seek vet care when your pet is in need, then you should fit in here quite well

So is now a good time to ask for pics??? Please

Well working at the humane society and being involved in several others one can say I'm a sputer freak. When people tell me they aren't going to sputer just because or because their little baby is going to help them make money by reproducing it drives me bonkers...

The dogs are left outside only when the weather is nice and only for the duration that I'm at work, and even then they are full access to the garage just incase. Kitty and bunny don't go outside at all unless on leash and under supervison.

All the furries get their medical needs seen to asap though I feel as if I'm letting my old boy down at the moment due to money problems...

So I think I'll fit in fine...

Hmm pictures you say? Let me discuss this with my "business partners".

Yep, you will fit in fine. Most of us are in the same mind set. No need to add to the pet over population. There are far too many being euthed now.
Welcome!! Stick around. I am sure you have lots of stories for us!!

The furries have agreed. lol

1.5 year old, female tripod kitty, Reyna. She came into my life as a 4 week old feral with her two siblings, mama was never caught.

7 month old, male German Shepherd Cross, Boone(silent "e"). He was brought into work around the same time I started as a 3 month old stray with a broken leg and has fear aggression issues, we clicked the moment I saw him and I ended up fostering then adopting him.

9 year old, male Labrador Cross, Drifter. Adopted at 11 months old, found running around a mall parking lot no one ever claimed him. He's got some arthritis in his age, he's also developed a grade 4/5 heart murmur, seizures, and liver function problems. Going deaf as well as blind but still loving life.

3 year old, female Mini Rex, Floof. "Upgraded" from a less then ideal situation.

Stories... I have plenty, some happy some not so.
