Just so you know, Quicksilver is an African Cichlid, and Al is an Apple Snail.

How did I take the pictures? Well, there was no alagae on the tank! lol. It was hard, my snail is camera shy, and so is my fish. I had to sit in front of the tank, and just when I wanted to take the picture, the fish would move. It was no problem for the snail moving, except whenever he is out and you look at him, he freaks out an closes up! I had to zoom in for his pictures, or get them when he wasn't looking.

Even if the fish pictures you have are blurry, you should show them to us! I'd like to see them.

Jay, as you see, picked the place with the most alagae to clean. Jay is an alagae eater, who I got yesterday. As you can tell, my two guys that clean my aquarium to keep the sides free of alagae are named, Al, and Jay!

Spoiled, great pics When Hubbie had HIS aquarium, which HE did not keep clean, guess who got close to the inhabitants although SHE did not want an aquarium?? ME!!
I seemed to be forever cleaning it and fishingout little baby-neons so they would not be eaten, had to buy a tank just for them!! So much for HUBBIES aquarium
I had one of those algae eaters(I forgot the long name for them),he grew really big and he was black, his name was Charlie.
I grew really found of him, kind of cute in an ugly way
When the time came to dismantle the aquarium, because of problems I had with it.....Charlie and his pals went to the pet-shop where they happily agreed to take them,no flushing down the toilet for my fish

Well,I visited Charlie often and since he was kept in an even bigger tank in the store,he grew to be almost a foot long,I could swear when he saw me,he gave me a big whiskered smile

This is the second one I have had. Once when I was really little, we got one. There was a pink glass castle in the tank that fell over, and he decided to swim through a hole in it that was too small and got stuck!! We pulled him out, but after that he had a permenant kink in his tail! Poor thing. My guy is a little bit lighter colored. I like his spots!

That's right Iggette,Plecostamus(I also don't know the spelling )
Unless your husband is from another planet and not a regular guy, don't get an aquarium,it will usually end up as another chore for the wife
Seeing I would not let any living thing suffer,I had to get involved with the wellfare of Charlie and the others,LOTS of work and worry about temp and other things,NOT worth it,although they are nice to watch...
Our dentist has a saltwater-tank and the fish are amazing, but it's very, very expensive..
How's the new guy, kissing kitties yet?

Camera shy? My snail closes up if you even get close to the tank. My fish swims to the other side of the tank so I can't get him, to!

oh what stories... lololol

I had neon-teras and guppies, one of my favourites

somehow, quicksilver looks like a bigger fish (bigger, than neon-teras for example)

Well, he's about two - three inches long. Maybe I'll name my algae eater Trouble. Quicksilver is always looking for Trouble!

But it isn't too funny for "Trouble!" JJ gets chased a lot. What type of stuff could I put in the aquarium that he could go behind and hide?

doh.

glass in the aquarium separating the two?

next when u go pet shopping, let them know what kind of fish u have... so that this doesnt happen...

some fish simply can't get along with others.

They get along well except when the aquarium light is on! Weird. I guess I didn't explain my situation?
