Talking

OK, that photo of her all wet is just too funny for words!
I just made it my current desktop wallpaper.

You actually bathe your cat? And she lets you do this? Yowzaaaa, mine would be an orange streak of pissed off feline, hissing and claws out, if I tried bathing him. He's normally a very mellow cat, but one night I was taking a bath and he was on the edge and one of the dogs gave him a nudge....
Can you see this coming....
??

Lets just say there was a water trail from the bathroom to the living room and I had cat scratches in some rather odd places.

I can't believe mimi let's you give her a bath. When I had cats and I tried to give them a bath, they would claw me and hiss. Needless to say it wasn't very fun.

How old is she?

Carina & Daisy...

so... both of you didn't bathe your cats??

in my household, when one got a bath, the other two were sure to follow, and last, me. LOL.

When I had cats I did try (keyword "try") to give my cats a bath. I got clawed alot, but I hurried up and got them done.

Man, were they mad as hell when I was done. They wouldn't come near me for awhile. Then later in the day they would forgive me and lay on me.

Cats are funny. My daughter wants a kitten again, but with having 3 dogs I don't see that happening right now. They go nuts when all the strays in my town are running through our yard. I could just imagine what would happen if I got one now.

Heck no, they never get baths. The only time I ever tried that was a flea shampoo, and it didn't go over very well. Plus lots of fleas survived.
My dogs get baths maybe twice a year, though they swim in summer & get damp towel rubdowns. They are sweet smelling and shiny.
Krazy cat is sitting on my lap right now, I just sniffed him and parted his hair to check his skin. He doesn't smell and seems utterly clean.

*blinks twice* ....

i guess....

HOwever, I would HIGHLY Recommand bathing all pets (except fish... aquarium-bound animals, lol)

it's a fabulous bonding experience.

it's best when you can be in the tub/shower with them at the same time so that they don't feel as tho they're forced in there solo... it should always be fun and positive.

meh, I could go on and on... then again, I should start a new thread. lol.

Petie (our Pit Bull) loves a bath. When one of us is taking a shower he climbs in. hahaha

Ruger (our German Shepard) hates water. We have such a hard time giving him a bath. It takes 2 of us to bathe him. IN the end we're all soaked.

Thor (our Pit Bull Mix) doesn't really like to be bathe either, but he does tolerate it. He doesn't get us soaked (like Ruger).

This this grooming place that just opened where I live. You can give your dog a bath yourself instead of having a groomer do it. I saw the picture of the sink, etc. (it was in our newspaper). It looks like it's a good idea, and there isn't another one like that around here.

We should try it sometime. It beats cleaning out the tub after giving our pooches their bath. All that dog hair gross!

AWWWWWWWWWWW that pic of Mimi looks like my Casper when he gets out of the bath.Casper loves the water. And he is only 3 months old. He's our little deaf one.He loves to hop in the bath or shower when someone is in there. After we wash our hands in the sink in the bathroom,he jumps on the toilet tank into the sink drinks the water and curls up in it.Go figure.Hehehe....My dogs love having a bath.Never had a problem with that. They hop in the tub before It's even time...Hahahaha.

Hello wAggie,

Hopefully we'll get to go in the new year. As soon as we go I will let you know how it was (I hope it'll be great).
