Poor little Molly

Molly the Pug crossed the bridge today. Molly was killed by a rescue dog that had been living with my friends for two weeks now without incident. Ironically, the rescue was just about to be placed with a family who had no other pets and she probably would have gone to her new home on Tuesday or Wednesday.

I didn't ask too many details, but I believe that the rescue suddenly grabbed Molly by the neck while they were playing and shook her. It all happened so quickly that my friend was unable to get Molly free in time.

Molly was my girlfriend's 6 year old son's dog. Fortunately, he was at home but was outside playing at the time and did not witness it.

Sorry Molly that you had to go in this way. Sweet puggie kisses to you on the other side.

OH gee that is sad - RIP Molly - I guess some dogs are just not meant to be with other dogs.

It is good the six year didnt see it would have been so traumatising. Sorry about little Molly.

Joey just recently made friends with a black pug named Hercules

Poor Molly.. that's very sad.

I'm gathering the rescue dog is no more? It's definitely not the first instance I have heard of a dog being killed by another dog in rescue. Tragic.

OMG that's horrible that she would go that way!

I guess when it comes to dogs if they have not learn to socialize with others of their kind it can indeed be troublesome. Thankfully Kenny got along with smaller Oreo just fine 'till the end of his days.
