Dog Eating Carpet

I Have A 7 Yr Old Maltisse That Is Chewing And Eating My Carpet Any Idea Why She Is DOING This?

Sometimes fluffy carpets remind dogs of prey that they used to hunt years ago when they were wild. They may instinctually tug grab etc. at the carpet.

You can get sprays that will turn the dog off of this area or use a plant to cover up the spot.
You can also get the dog some plushy squeeky toys which she'll love instaed of the carpet.

Chocolate loves the sheeps' wool carpet at my mom's place.

discourage the behaviour, and limit access to the area where the carpet is to ensure proper traininger continues when u are in the same room w the dog...
