Question popping noises

i would like to know why i hear a "popping " noise coming from my dogs joints.
some days are noisier than others, and some days he sounds like a pop corn
maker.is it something i need to worry about?also he has dark red gums around
his teeth, then they lighten up as the gum recedes.

How old is your dog? What breed of dog is it? Is he/she active?

you may want to approach your vet with your observations, this doesn't sound like normal noises to me
