Arcade

I tend to be somewhat singleminded on the site and click New Posts and work from there. Tonight I noticed Arcade and thought I would check it out. Alas, I was informed I did not have enough posts to access the area. How many posts do I need? - I have a couple thousand now and that is not enough. Or is this a new thing??

Thx!

I don't know. I have so many less posts than you and I tried to click on Tetris and gave me the same error. Maybe it's a game link for the administrators and they are the only ones who have access to it.

The arcade is a new feature... why not play some games while talking pets

It will be up an accessible to all within a few days. We are still running a few tests.

Stay tuned!!!

Thx Dave - I love tetris!! All I need now, something else to distract me from work, lol I discovered Tetris when my nephew (aged maybe 6 or so) arrived to spend the w/e with me with his Game Boy in Tow. Well, the day he left - taking the Game Boy with him - I went out and bought myself one. Mind you, I already owned whatever the going system of the day was (Atairi - did A have tetris, I can't recall, I know I loved Breakout, Pacman, Space Invaders and Missile Command in that order, lol) maybe or Nintendo. Now I have Pacman, Tetris, Mahh Jong and similar games, Bubblet and Freecell with dif varieties on my Pocket PC. I am a hopeless Freecell addict! (am up to 576 consecutively won games - my longest streal ever - on the laptop, lol - that is over a loooooong period of time granted). I used to have DX Ball (Breakout like game) on an older PC but never got around to installing that on any computer of late. Sadly, the inventor of that little program died of cancer, think it was cancer, he was either in his late teens or early 20's, just a kid! I used to be addicted to Jezzball but have not installed that either, lol There is a fellow has a web site for Jezz addict jezzball.com I think - can't recall.

Anyway - you can see I do NOT need an arcade but I would not stay away either, lol Looking forward to checking it out.

Chico,

Use the arrow key to rotate the blocks. The point of the game is to get a row of solid blocks. When you get a row of solid blocks the row disappears. When you reach the top - GAME OVER. If you get five rows at one time it is called a tetris and you will gain extra points.

Hope the helps. Let me know if I missed any key points.

Click the mouse or hold it down to make the chopper go up. When you release the mouse button the chopper starts going down. It tricky at first, but get the hang of it and it becomes pretty addictive.

I get it now. You have to hit him with the arrow, not the hammer. The hammer is there to distract you.

BTW I love that snake game.

By the way, what is a fritter anyway (or whatever his name is)?

Also, I've noticed new games popping up here and there. How about Dig Dug? Anyone remember that oldie, but goodie? I used to love that game! That and, ready for this one, Circus? And Pitfall? And you can't forgert Frogger or Qbert, oh no! Overload, overload....

Ah, and Donkey Kong. Always a classic. I can't believe the days I wasted on Atari, then Nintendo...to think, in the future I would spend time so much more productively, pecking away on the internet instead.
