Losing weight and unstable on feet

Hi guys, so my kitten, Diablo, 2 months ( his pic attached) is being really weird and in bad shape lately. His mum dissapeared not so long ago, about 2 weeks but he was just fine until recently, he lost so much weight and can't walk or stand properly, losing his balance and looking really weak. I will bring him to the vet tomorrow, but I would like to know if anyone ever had this problem before and it there's something I can do in the meantime. Any help would be really appreciated please, thank you..

Welcome!
A vet visit is a must especially so young. They can go down hill really fast when they are so young. Thinking he likely has a parasite or maybe even a respiratory type virus as it is very common in kittens. A deworm is likely needed as well. I dont know 1000% sure but I think I read somewhere kittens get the worms from mom.
Make sure he or she is hydrated too. You can entice it with some soft food and put some parm cheese or something smelly (soft) on top and maybe even add a tad bit of water to make it liquid like.
Best of luck and let us know how you make out...
More pics please
Cindy
P.S Love the name too!

agree w/winston 100%.

Vet visit is in order as it's impossible to accurately guess what the problem might be. Winston correctly suggests where the common problems lie though.
