Transport emergency - Montreal - Toronto

Posted by Marko for Sowilu

My foster dog is already traveling from NC to Montreal but we need help transporting from Montreal to Toronto! Today is the last day to decide as she needs a health certificate before she can travel and if we can't get that leg she won't be traveling.

The trip is schedule for either Jan. 23 or 24 depending on when my boss arrives to Canada with my foster dog!!

Please help us we are desperate!!!

Regards,
RC

Many transport runs being done out of Montreal at this time. It is unfortunate that this is very last minute and not much time to coordinate. Hopefully someone can assist.

OT Sorry
Speaking of which I missed you by about 10 minutes on Sunday in Port Hope!

Weekends work better for dog transports... what type of dog is this? ie. what size, is it vaccinated, is it altered... is it health checked? I assume it has at least Rabies if it's going through customs...

I know - too funny. You would have laughed watching me 'trying' to get a dobie into the other crate....not a proud moment for me..

BTW - I like your contact! Would you mind if I call upon her sometime? sorry.

There is another thread there BDMLuver with the dog. It looks like a golden cross, medium size.

I already am doing a transport OUT of Ontario on the same day. Bad timing.

Yep, give her a ring, she'll help whenever she can! Gotta share..........

Back on topic: k I will search for the thread and see the details then figure out if I can help in some way or other... when are you leaving for Ontario btw.... that might work if I hold the dog too?

She will be traveling with a health certificate, she has good temperament might be a little weary of strangers but just give a treat and she loves you for ever. We have snow here (odd for NC) and I am not sure if my boss will be canceling his trip until next week. If he does I will post up here and hopefully we can have a better coordination. This came totally unexpected as I thought my boss SIL lived in Toronto not in Montreal and the adopter lives close to Toronto and not Montreal. I emailed JeannieV for the Montreal Kingston trip but I never got a reply from her. Hopefully though somebody can help out with Montreal Ottawa if my boss can't make it that far. This trip will be happening on the weekend. My boss will travel thursday night to new jersey and should probably reach Canada Friday?? don't know the distance. He has to be back home before Monday as he is going with his daughter who needs to go to school.

Generally, if you are going through NJ then you can come up through Buffalo Ny into Ontario and across to Montreal. Leastways, that's how we did it.... Just a thought.

Transport will no longer be needed. Pudding will not be traveling to Canada. We ran into some issues and just decided that she shouldn't make the trip. Thank you all for your support.

that I have missed this thread and was unable to respond in a timely manner. I have been swamped and haven't been here for a while...

Just so its a little clearer, I usually go to Kingston once every 3 weeks, but I am flexible and if need to delay or rush my trip, it is usually not a problem, but I need to deal with it case by case.

I hope to be of use next time!
