Nova's summer adventures

Here are some photos of Nova enjoying the summer so far! She'll be coming camping with us in two weeks, there is a dog friendly beach there - can't wait to take her swimming! She's a real character of a dog, I can't believe how much personality can be packed into one creature... She's over a year now, and really coming into her own

Mesmerized by the water hose

Nova flying across the field... literally, Lol

This is Nova climbing a tree at the park... there was a squirrel up top, of course.

And then she realizes she doesn't know how to get down!

Sitting in the grass by the creek - she was eating it, again... some dogs eat grass because their stomachs are upset, Nova eats it like she's secretly a cow! She just enjoys tearing it up (our poor yard is suffering!)

Nova's last day on our old deck. We had to tear it down and put new boards up, she's giving me the weirdest expression again. I'm not even sure what she is thinking here.

And from earlier this week...

Me: "Sit!"

Nova: "In the water? No way! I'm not that stupid!"

Me: "Lie Down!"

Nova sticks out tongue.

WOW!!! Nova is still as adorable as ever. After only meeting her through pictues I am still able to see so much expression and personality in that cute little face!! You are very lucky!
Are you still planning on doing agility with Nova? Where did you get her from? My sister does agility and is already shopping around for her next BC.

NOVA!!!!!!

My most favourite girl who is at the top of my dognapping list! You HAVE to come to Woofstock next year so I can squish her!

I love her expressions, and the flying, and the tree climbing, and the attitude (nice tongue!).....and and and just all the cuteness! I can hardly stand it - I want your dog!

(btw, Kailey has that cow gene too!)

mollywog - I am still training her in agility She just finished a set of classes, but because of vacation and whatnot won't be starting up again for at least another six weeks.. but that doesn't really matter because I still have equipment at home to practice with Nova came from a farm, her parents were cow dogs (maybe thats where the grass eating comes from! )

Chase_Mom - I will definitely be at woofstock next year! I'm still really bummed I had to miss it this time. My back is still not completely better, but it's improving every day. Just took about 3 weeks, blech. Nova loves attention from people, she'll enjoy being squished! (Just wish she liked attention from other dogs! She has quite the attitude with them. )

I can sympathize, as Chase has become a bit of a jerk in the last year too....fortunately I have a whole year to work on it so I can bring him to Woofstock next year. I want to do the rescue walk with him.

Yeah, we got another year to work on it too She is quite herdy with other dogs, but that's just off-leash. When on leash she gets all excited to meet one, then as soon as they meet face to face she suddenly snaps from 'excitable happy girl', to 'get out of my face! I hate you! Your invading my 10ft radius!'

Sounds familiar Chase went from the sweet happy boy who loved everyone and everything to thinking he needs to be macho and protect his sister at all costs We made progress with one while the other slid backwards....Anyway,

Main thing is Nova's a cutie! Got any Cody pics for us????

Nova is adorable! What kind of dog is she? I still miss having a small dog in the house.

Spatx Nova just gets more & more adorable if that's even possible!

The flying pic is great very nice form - that will come in very handy for flyball & agility jumps

Love the last tree pic & the deck shot

The tongue pic is priceless

Nova needs her own website / calendar. She's so photogenic and such a ham. I can't get enough of looking at her expressions.
