Hello!
Hi there, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Kelly and I live in Brampton, Ontario. My husband and I recently (about a month ago) adopted a 2-year-old lab/doberman rescue dog named Katie. She's an absolute sweetheart and already loves us as though she'd been with us for years... and the feeling is quite mutual. We are having one problem with her though, which I'll ask about on the behaviour board.
Although we both grew up with dogs, this is OUR first dog, so we're thrilled, but also have a lot to learn. I'm sure you can expect a lot of questions from me in the days and months to come!

Welcome !!
But if you want answers to your questions, you have to post pics of your dog! It's a just paiment for any help we give. Kidding  But we do demand pics though! Help, is free of charge! And thank you for rescuing an adult mix  much appreciated on this forum, as you will discover.

Haha... twist my arm.
 My 'posting rules' are saying I may not post attachments - I'm not sure if this is because I'm new, or if I screwed something up! - but as soon as I figure it out, I'll be more than happy to post a pic of my baby.

Hi Kel, welcome to the board
And yes, you're right, it's because you're brand new that you can't post attachments....soon though. And if you have any questions ask some of the older members...I myself, just earned my attachment rights

I'm not sure what the reason was... they must have just heard I'm a bad seed.
But today my restriction is gone! So here's our sweet, goofy, floppy-eared Katie. That tongue picture makes me laugh everytime I look at it.
