Bichon ate whole chicken wing bone off plate
Hi everyone:
I'm home recovering from chemotherapy today and my daughter took her dinner into the living room. Our bichon grabbed a chicken wing off her plate and ATE IT WHOLE. No chewing, just one big swallow. I'm too sick from chemo right now to take him to the vet. Besides the fact that there's a snowstorm outside and I can't clean off my car to get there. The effort alone would land me in the hospital. Right now the only thing I can do is wait. How does a dog his size "pass" a chicken bone. Someone please tell me things will be alright. |

Hey there! I think things will be okay! just keep an eye on your little one to make sure that he is drinking, eating and in no discomfort...maybe have a check of his stools too..I think many dogs eat larger pieces when they consume a raw diet but your chicken was cooked...but still I am sure your worried...How does he seem?
If you really think he is in distress then maybe someone could help you get to the vets?? Good Luck and keep us posted Cindy
