Question Can you guess how old we are

It's not known when these three where born but mom doesn't really care to feed them but will meow for them when she can't find them... what can I do to get her to find them?

What happened?

Are the kittens lost? I would guess that they are about 3 to 4 weeks old!

Oh yes, they are beautiful, but it's hard to figure their age.....do they eat canned kitten-food? Maybe mom figures they are old enough to eat on their own,or maybe she is pregnant again??

CyberKitten

Hi,

Some kittens will eat at four weeks but that is usually the age when they are starting to be weaned. My guess is these cuties might be five weeks if they already eat solid food. I've handreared kits and one of them was none too keen on eating meat - must've been a born vegan :-) - But they must be at least five or six weeks. They certainly do not look any older!

They are so sweet....and ya I'd guess 5 weeks. I think that it was mentioned in another thread, but the litter on their feet is actually harmful to them if they ingest it (the clay clumping kind should not be used for young kittens). Just an FYI....hope these little darlings all find good homes!

Shannon, what a beautiful picture, mama cat is also very pretty.
Maybe I missed it somehow, but are you running a shelter?
What will you do with mama when she's no longer needed for the kittens, will she stay with you??
I have 3 cats and can have no more,I am just asking out of concern for mama cat, since the idiot owners obviously could care less

I help run Little Paws Adoptions, mom and babies live with me... along side 18 other cats and out of the 23 all together 4 our mine, it take's a lot of work to keep things up and I wouldn't have it any other way cause I know for most of these cats they wouldn't be alive or worst off, if you like I can post everyone pictures for you to see them all.

Shannon,24 cats that is wonderful, you are one of the several Kitty-Angels on this Forum.
I can understand that your mission is very rewarding, but it's frustrating and sad that so many cats need rescuing.
Before joining this Forum,I never knew sooo many people cared about the thousands of unwanted, abused and throwaway cats and it really warms my heart knowing, there are people out there who loves them.
Please post some pictures,we always love to see kitty/doggy pics
Thank's for caring..
