Dogs playing in the snowstorm

I got some more funny photos of the dogs playing out in the snow(storm)... I don't really want to call is a storm, since the snow wasn't that heavy. The media likes to go off the deep-end in Toronto and make it sound like were going to be buried in feet of snow.

It was quite a nice day, it wasn't actually that cold (unless you sit in the snow with jogging pants on like I did). The things I do sometimes We had to shovel outside three times, and luckily it stopped snowing tonight so we don't have to worry about it in the morning. I don't like shoveling snow - and Cody actually has some wacky fear of shovels. Although I don't really get to use that as an excuse since he can stay in... but I can try, right?

They always make the craziest faces, and I have a good laugh when I sit and go through the pictures on my computer. These are taken with my brand-new camera lens I finally bought, for anyone curious I got the Canon 70-200mm f4l USM... I love it already!

Cody Side Portrait

Another Cody headshot

Nova face

Two of them interested in something - probably movement from a squirrel at the back of the yard

The craziness ensues.

Cody pins her down

Nova gets revenge and gives Cody the smack-down

When people ask me how I keep Cody in shape this winter - my response from now on will be "I'd run like mad too if a crazy faced border collie was leaping at me"

Nova has the funniest teethy faces, lol

Charging Cody - they play the weirdest games.

Cody has a big mouth, but I must say his teeth look good for an 8 year old, lol.

Cody Shaking the snow off... can even see some drool flying, haha!

(Now off to have a shower before bed, sister has been hogging it for the past hour!!)

What great pics, Spatx! Gadz they're having soooo much fun!!! I love the snowy-faced Cody...and the picture where they're side-by-side watching something. But my favorites are the teethie shots!

I hope your sis left you some hot water!

That's a great shot is Nova actually as tall as Cody now or is it just the perspective?

It's more the perspective, but she's actually pretty close to his height now. Her head is taller than his because of her long neck. I need to take a shot of them beside each other for comparison sometime soon. She really has caught up to him in height - but build and weight wise she is much smaller.

Thanks for the comments, I love reading them - I really do feel blessed to have these two in my life
