have you tried any of the purebred Rescue groups? There are a few in Canada - not sure about Albert specifically but you might type in Cornish Rex in Petfinder.com andcheck the National box and see if any come up for your postal code.
Here is a list of approved TICA approved catteries - there is one listed in Alberta but only an email is provided. You might so a search or research the cattery. http://www.tica.org/cr.htm Here is a US rescue group. I am uncertain if they would allow you to adopt from Canada but possibly if you yourself were willing to travel there?? I know Siamese Rescue with which I am involved with has what is termed a "Meezer Express" to get Siamese kitties in need to good homes. Perhaps this group also does something similar? http://www.cornishrexfriends.org/ And here is another US site that may be of help: http://rexphiles.com/ In fact, these two boys are from Ontario and are available now - NOT Alberta I know but it might be easier than the US. http://rexphiles.com/willie.hobbes.JPG Good luck!!
