Twiggy and Baci update

Hi members,

Hard to believe that a couple of weeks have passed since we got Twiggy She is a really special cat. So sweet and gentle, a total lap cat; Carmy is in heaven. Plus her little downy fur is so soft. She is a joy and a pleasure.

Baci, AKA Tony the scavenger, Jimmy back-kicks and a few other names is a REAL character. More difficult than Twiggy fer sure....but still growin' on us and he's very affectionate - very. He's also a whiny cat and without a doubt he has had a harder life. He is OBSESSED w/food and he's always hungry. Come morningtime, from the millisecond our feet hit the floor the whining siren for food begins. meow, feed me..meow, meeeeeeow, mow, mmmmmeeahhhhhow, myow, myow, myow, myow, myow, myow, myow, myow. Even while we are opening the can in front of him, the meow siren continues....what a nut. I mean WHO ARE we opening the can for, Obama?

Also at 3:30 every single morning, Baci's playtime begins by ramming his teeny head into me, whipping me with the rat-tail while purring like a motorcycle hundreds of times before I yell, Jimmy - for god's sake - Go to sleep!!!

Twiggy and baci seem to be getting along okay. They aren't lovers, but they seem to be friends.

That's it for now - Here's a coupla pix.
best! Marko

I think Baci and Carrot must have been separated at birth. I haven't had an uninterrupted night of sleep since Carrot decided that rolling around on my chest and head-butting my face at 3 or 4 in the morning was the best thing ever. Oh, and he drools to. Despite the ungodly hour, I do find myself giggling most nights. Which of course only encourages him.

That pic of Twiggy! She looks like a wee kitten napping there What a sweetie!

Baci even looks more mischievous--he's got a plot in his eyes, I'm tellin' ya! All that meowing is just his way of letting you know about his newest plot--and evidently most of his plots involve training you to open cans?

Are Twiggy and Baci still sharing the bed peaceably at night?

scm, I think Carrot must be a setter...an early riser and a drooler

thx 4 the comments! Baci is due to get his bath (probably first in his life) this weekend - oh what a treat that should be
We are trying to put him in the sink a few times a day and treat immediately - we'll see
...and yup we all sleep together peacefully

until 3:30 am

Ok Baci and Salem were seperated at birth too, he wakes me up every morning starting around 4:30 for his breakfast. He will nugg me , and rub his head against mine, and flop multiple times against me, purr in my ear, lick my ear until i get up, or i completely ignore him, then he will jump wildly in the bed or howl till i get up. He is pretty funny though.

Nice pics. Its funny how they all have there own little personality.

So glad to hear that things are going well with these two beauties. I'm sure in no time they'll be tight buddies. Happy morning wake ups Marko...

Isn't 3:30 AM time for all cat owners to be up ? They may never be cuddle bums, but if they get along fine and keep each other company then all is good .

Just hope they become a tag team at 3:30AM by each of them giving you head butts. One on each side
