Exclamation pet mourning by another pet

Our 11 year old lab just died of cancer (mast cell: lungs and stomach) last week. Our 3 year old dog (Max) was his constant companion. Max's tail suddenly appears "bent," but he has had no physical injury. What should we do?

Hi,

My condolences on your loss.

Dogs mourn just like people mourn. He will come around eventually. Give him time and keep him busy.

More attention at this time is a good idea.

Herman
