Smile Have a Happy Easter Everyone
Have a Happy Easter everyone , Just dropping a line cause Buddy is like havin kids back in the house very busy and always on my toes.....lol....... Got to get ready for the family visit so I won't be online for the weekend Hope you all have a great Easter.......I know Buddy will he has a female playmate comming to visit sunday he should really enjoy that she loves to play.......So Cheers Have a great Holiday

I have decided to visit my "kids" after work on Sunday.

Twin kids...my goats are boarded on a friends farm about thirty miles from where I live and she called this morning with the news. My pet Alpine doe "Jansen" had twins this morning around 3am. Two doelings, one marked like mom, (Sundgow, Orca markings) and the other like Grandmom, looked like a white tail deer. This will be Jansen's last freshening. Now I have two little girls to carry on.....(goats need to be bred for a few seasons or they are prone to ovarian cysts).
Sandi, Jansen's mom, was raised at our hangar my ex and I had at a local airport. She thought she was a dog. Her best friend was my first Rotti, Jesse. I lost her 7 years ago and miss her dearly. Jansen was her only kid, we lost her twin and with the next breeding at the 3 month stage, her rumen was impacted. She was operated on at the University of Florida's Vet college but aborted the kids one month shy of her due date. She never recovered and went very fast.
I wish I could post pic's but I do not have the ability.
I am going to take Jansen for a ride on Sunday, her favorite pastime!
