I see now, well if they didn't swing their tales in synch then they may be tangled with each other

They want to look outside and they won't be able to if they are in the little house.

I can see them now, too, onster! Best buds On the same wavelength!

They like the top of the bed, onster. Maybe you can store magazines in the bottom of it if they don't ever go in there!

Have you tried enticing Bunduk inside with some rubber coating off a wire?

I know, I know...I'm channeling madame hazel and she can be sometimes!

LOL i suppose ure right re: the tangling. And yep, u can kinda see the head of the squirrel in the middle 'hole' in the snow. He was diving for seeds leftover from the birds.

I tried moving the bed to a corner upstairs they like to sleep in but then it was totally ignored

LOL no encouraging the nominator!!! hahaha U see the middle pole on the left of the thing their sitting on. Notice how the top of it is kinda messed up. Bunduk likes to chew on it

I put catnip in it, bunduk went inside, ate it all (he likes to eat his kitty crack ) and went back outside. At least I know he fits. I suppose I could use it to store kitty stuff..maybe even their bag of food as its right next to their food station.

Our red squirrels are doing that this year, too. This is the first year I've ever seen them using tunnels under the snow. Drives the dogs nuts! Popping in and out of sight!

hmmm well Onnie never did but Bunduk used to when he was a kitten, to swipe at Onnie above or to hide after bopping Onnie on the head

he hasnt gone in for a loong time. Maybe its too small? Or maybe they just dont like enclosed spaces I guess wanting them to go into the hole in the new cat bed would be asking them to go against all established trends lol

But it's cute! And they do like the top! You need to put it in front of a window that they don't have any other way to look out of. Then at least they'd get good use of the top!

Did you get that bed at Costco Onster? I want one for Kale That means I have to go to big town

Bunduk eyes looks like he has seen a ghost He is so expressive, he kills me.

Our squiggies have tunnels in the snow too, it is real cute watching them 'now you see me now you don't'.

Nice camera you have there

I bought that exact kitteh bed just before we got Skylar last April. They wouldn't go near that damn thing, I think the smell of the laquer/finish on it was to powerfull, heck even I didn't like the smell coming off of it. They still don't really use it even though the smell is gone, once in a while Angus will lay in the top, but I mainly use it for toy storage. It's a nice piece of kitty furniture though, doesn't look too pet-like.

I love seeing kitties sitting together watching the wildlife.

You know, mine do the same with stuff like that bed. I'll buy something for them to go in, and they wind up sitting on top of it. At least Bunduk is using it as a little perch and he's laying on top.
