Hello. I have sent desperate e-mail messages to everyone I know involved in
rescue to no avail. PLEASE HELP REILLY, A PATHETIC LITTLE DAL WHO WAS GIVEN
UP BY HIS FAMILY AT THE AGE OF SEVEN YEARS OLD!!!!

He currently is at a town shelter on Long Island (suburb of NYC). WE WILL
HELP TRANSPORT HIM!!!

Reilly was raised by an elderly woman who decided that he was too much for
her to handle. her son's solution was to abandon this poor little guy at
the municipal shelter.

Reilly came in very upset, confused, frightened . . . He cannot endure
kennel life. The shelter knows that his behavior will deteriorate and WILL
KILL HIM BY FRIDAY if we don't get him out of there!!!

All foster homes we know of are full. PLEASE DALMATIAN LOVERS, HELP
REILLY!!!!

He is a handsome, sweet, playful fellow. He loves to go on long walks, he
loves to be with people and receive lots of attention. He does not deserve
to pay for the irresponsible, callous behavior of his "guardians."

His "guardians" were told that he would be killed, and they DO NOT CARE!!!!

PLEASE HELP REILLY!!! HIS TIME IS ALMOST UP!!!!

We will assist with transport.

Thank you in advance!
Gina De Haan

If I was to say that I could take him than how would I get him down here to me? If you still even need to place him in a home! Let me know

Hello Princess04, I never recieved anyother e-mails from them. So I'm guessing that they don't need help w/placing him anymore.

I would think you would have your hands full w/your soon to be baby (which I know that's a full time job to have) and your cat.

Please don't get offended as to what i'm about to say, I do appreciate you wanting to help. but you need to worry about your baby your about to have first. I have 3 small children ages 6 yrs. old (just turned 6 in April 2004), soon to be 3 yrs old(June 2004) and 1yrs old (who will be 2 in Oct. 2004). Plus I have 3 Big dogs, Pit Bull, Pit Bull Mix and German Shepard and I have my hands full with these guys.

I also know how much work it is when you have a baby especially a newborn.

So please again, don't get offended by what I wrote, I know your trying to help. I do appreciate the help.

Congrats on your baby!!! And I wish you Luck!!! Do you know what your having??

I was asking about the cat for a friend of mine she is looking for one. It was not for me. I was just trying to help her find a good cat!

My husband is wanting a Dalmation dog or a German Shepard, that is the only reason I was asking I was not going to get ride of my cat that was something I just heard and was concerned, but that is all taken care of now. So I am sorry for asking about him.

Princess.
Can I make a suggestion, and please don't take it the wrong way...

I would focus on the baby first. The baby will take up alot of your time.Trust me I know.My baby is 17 now.....LOL...But I had my previous GSD 4 years before I had her.If I didn't have him would I have gotten one? No,I would have waited. So if your hubby is set on getting one, please try and talk to his and tell him it wouldn't be a good time as yet......

We talked about it this weekend and we decided not to get one. He has grown up with German Shepards all his life and he just was talking about getting but we are going to hold off because life as we know it is about to change! I am exicited and ready for my baby and my cat to grow up together and be a cat lover also. Thank you for the advice,

Your welcome....

I too grew up with them. And have 2 now.

And yes,it will change... ....And from one mother to a mother to be,enjoy your baby. They grow up way to fast.... ...And once he/she gets a bit older, then you can get one....My daughter has grown up with them. And she has become an animal lover like her mum... ...And she respects them. That's what I taught her.

Good post mona!!!

Princess, I hope I didn't offend you. As I have 3 small children and 3 dogs. I know how hectic it can get at times.

My hubby wants to get another GSD but I told him no, not until we buy a house and the kids are a little older. We have enough kids in this house to take care of.

I didn't mean to offend you.
