flower market or flower shops in Montreal

anyone know of really good flower shops in Montreal? Or are there any farmer markets or something where people have cheap(er) flowers for sale and the sales lady isn't breathing down your neck for touching the flowers ??lol

Up here in Laval there are tons of farms... They call it the "Route des Fleurs". Some farms are enormous and you tell the dude what you're looking for and he points you to the green house with whatever in it. Some have literally dozens of greenhouses. It's kinda neat to support local farmers. I'd rather flower famers than condos any day.

Otherwise there's always Reno or Costco.

Oh, wait, are you talking about cut flowers? Hmm... I usually get my cut flowers from Costco too... They have 2 dozen roses for $18...

jiorji,if you are thinking Mothers Day flowers,Costco is your best bet for freshness.
We have a Farmers market here every Saturday, but their flowers last about 4 days:sad:
Every 2 weeks I buy a beautiful mixed large flower-bunch at Costco for about $15,lasts almost 2 weeks!
Flowershops around MD,are highly overpriced!
