New to this bulletin board
Well hello to all of your cat lovers. I am new to this bulletin board and I am very excited that you are out here. I am a animal lover and I have to very loveable but bratty cats. Aspen is almost 5 years old and Bijou is about 16 months.
My cats are both very different from each other. Aspen is my baby he is a snowshoe cat very loveable and loyal towards me; he gets upset when Bijou tries to cuddle while he is cuddling it is amusing though. Bijou is a very very loveable cat. He loves everyone including children. He is dumb and funny. He is actually going to be nuetered tomorrow. My biggest question is how do I make Aspen not be so growley towards Bijou. I can understand once in a while but I feel bad for Bijou and I just want Aspen to love him. Any suggestions |

Rubbing catnip on cats
Yup that's right.
I have heard this and tried it myself and it works. If the cat is sensitive to catnip (50% of cats are) then rub some catnip on Bijou and see if aspen approaches to lick him. It worked with my cats....and they became more friendly. Just a note though...some cats just get along better by themselves and nothing you will do will make them friends. But usually they will tolerate each other. Good luck Hamish |

Thank-you for the reply. It's actually really funny. Aspen and Bijou do get a long some of the time but they don't always get a long. Bijou will go up to Aspen and he will growl at Bijou but then Bijou will ignore him and they end up cuddling. I'm thinking now that I just got Bijou fixed they will get a long better but I'm not sure...
