Talking i want a rock as a pet

So manda goes for walk while du is waiting for dinner.. i come in and callie wants in mama wants out manda wants to hang on the awning du sits down in the bederoom and wont come to her dish till i put callies down so du can bully her and see what she is eating

fine! i'll feed du and callie in the bedroom manda jumps in and proceeds to her food which mama ate before so, ha ha

du come out has to see what mandas eating ok then I get du's bowl from the bed room and give her a taste callie comes out having finished and wants to play put callie in the bedroom shut the door

sweet talk and pet manda and sit by her as she eats cause now she wants company du meanwhile goes to the bedroom door cause its closed

my next life will have a rock as a pet maybe a cricket that about it though

Jim,it sounds like my mornings.
Kitty-feeding time takes about 30 min+,me following them around with their dishes, making sure Chico has a quiet spot, watching Vinnie so he does not eat all the dishes
Rocky starts in the kitchen, then I have to follow him with his dish to the den-window where he finishes,fun,fun,fun...
When I finally sit down with my coffee and morning-paper,Vinnie decides,he's more important than the paperplunks himself down

We have similar issues here, but since I've been insane for years, I don't notice them so much any more.

Good luck, Jim! And when you need it, there will always be a spare rubber room here for ya!

Plus, they tickle. So you should think long and hard before taking on crickets!

I'm sorry. I am missing what your problem is. Rocks don't make a mess, shed, or tear through your house at 100 miles an hour. But then again..... rocks don't cuddle or purr or melt your heart.

Rocks also don't scratch your furniture to smithereens

I only have two and it's the same silly feeding rituals. Shadow has developed a habit where she won't eat until Halo has finished eating and left the kitchen. Given her preference I leave the kitchen also so that she can push her dish across the floor to wherever she decides is a good spot to eat that given day. Maybe she'll eat it maybe she won't. But mom can't go far because if Shadow decides not to eat and just leaves it there Halo may decide to go in and have dinner #2. Which she doesn't need. She's actually pretty good, she has never eaten Shadow's dinner if it's in the bowl, but will lick the empty bowl just to make sure it's truly empty. Shadow is a Queen and likes to eat in private it seems. So how long do pet rocks live anyhow??

And people laugh when they learn we leave pages and pages and pages of "What to do if she does that..." instructions for the sitter if we have to be away for a day.
